Для ленивых и непонятливых:
1. Апдейтим миранду внутренними средствами Updater.dll от Scott Ellis (у кого этот плагин не стоит идем другим путем)
2. Лезем на http://addons.miranda-im.org/feed.php?dlfile=1683 и качаем, весит 112 кб.
3. Распаковываем и закидываем icq.dll в
ну или где она там стоит при выключенной миранде.
4. Запускаем, наслаждаемся

странно у меня работала весь день и не вылетела даже аська, и сейчас работает... я уже адвно эту версию закачал...
Каждый день добавляются новые (обновления) плагинов, через форум во внешке + Updater.dll

в общем слежу за любыми обновлениями данной программы и закачиваю к себе, здесь не пишу потому что смысла нет слишком много всего...

- Unicode support was introduced
- Database can store the Unicode strings (in utf8 format), and save and return these strings as ANSI, UCS2 and UTF8 strings
- Most core protocols can send, receive & process the information in Unicode
- The contact lists can display nicks, names and statuses in Unicode (under NT)

по делу: перескочил на 0.5 , в чт почти целый день убил на поиск и компановку плагинов + их настройку. собственно собрал сначала unicode версию... что-то не понравилось, пересобрал на ansi версии
